One of the greatest finishes to a professional sporting final in Australia ripped straight from a Hollywood blockbuster in the A-League grand final. A miraculous comeback from the Brisbane Roar to beat the Central Coast Mariners in a penalty shootout.

not usually a fan of soccer, especially the A-league, but this was amazing to watch. Sport at its best!

@Gillysbiggestfan lol this is so stupid, it’s not rigged. Mariners just cant win a grand final, it will stay like that :D . i hope, being a jets fan.

Whoever is the Brisbane manager, he should be proud. Off the ball movement of his players look as good as Barcelona’s. Keep up the good work.

Zephyesa January 3, 2012 at 5:29 am

@Gillysbiggestfan oh very strange ending to a game

Gillysbiggestfan January 3, 2012 at 5:46 am

@Zephyesa The first goal wasn’t scored until the 95th minute, 5 minutes into extra time. It was 0-0 at the end of normal time.

Zephyesa January 3, 2012 at 6:20 am

can someone explain why there is extra time when the mariners won in normal time 2-0?

roryisawesome1 January 3, 2012 at 6:39 am

sportydude16 January 3, 2012 at 7:28 am

@danielscuteri No…. it’s just because passing the ball sideways and nobody scoring or doing anything vaigly entertaining for 15 minutes bores me….

I can’t help but smile like a douche and almost cry when that second goal goes in…even though I’ve watched this about 50 times. GO THE ROAR!!!

sportydude16 January 3, 2012 at 10:15 am

@MrOZZIEsport Because my mate told me it would make me like soccer and I came into this with an open mind, but yet again I’m bored as fuck, even when it’s supposed to be really exciting. Also soccer isn’t the most popular came because its boring, it’s the most popular sport because it’s so simple and easy to understand and follow. Any fuckwit who watches the game can figure out what’s going on in the first 5 minutes of watching it.

MrOZZIEsport January 3, 2012 at 11:12 am

@sportydude16 Then why did you watch this video.
Football isn’t the world’s most popular sport because it’s boring.

sportydude16 January 3, 2012 at 11:30 am

The first 15 mintues of that video are boring as fuck, just like every single soccer game ever.
